NBHS Athletic Boosters – Hawk Club
Greetings from the Hawk Club!
The Hawk Club was established in 1984 as North Buncombe High School’s official athletic booster club. We are a 100% volunteer organization with a passion for our Blackhawk community. The Hawk Club’s mission is to provide both financial and nonfinancial support to our NBHS student athletes.
The NBHS athletic program relies heavily on these contributions; without it, the athletic program would have a budget shortfall negatively impacting our school and student athletes. 100% of the money raised by the Hawk Club goes directly back to our program – during the 2023-24 school year, the Hawk Club contributed over $30,000 to NBHS. These funds are used to pay for things such as travel, meals, uniforms, equipment, coaches stipends, just to name a few. We were also excited to purchase NC State Championship rings for our Lady Blackhawks 4×100 relay team!
