What is the purpose of the Hawk Club?
★ The Hawk Club was established in 1984 as North Buncombe High School’s official athletic booster club.
★ We are 100% composed of volunteers and 100% funded by community support through local business advertising sales, concession & merchandise sales at sporting events, fundraising events & donations.
★ The mission of the Hawk Club is to provide financial support to ALL athletic teams and student athletes.
★ During the 2023-24 season, the Hawk Club provided over $30,000 in direct financial support to NBHS athletic programs. This included essential items such as coaches stipends, new equipment & uniforms, payment for referees, meals & travel expenses and student athlete recognition & championship awards and scholarships.
★ The Hawk Club Is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. 501(c)(3) are exempt from federal Income tax. Donations made to 501(c)(3) organizations are often tax-deductible for the donor. Donations can be cash, IRA RMD’s via Qualified Charitable Distributions, goods, services, Investments or property”
